Dr Kanishka Rangamuwa

Dr Kanishka is a respiratory and sleep physician.

He graduated from the University of Otago in New Zealand and completed his specialist training in Melbourne. He completed his fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) through Eastern Health and The Alfred Hospital. He is currently completing a PhD in Lung Cancer through the University of Melbourne. Kanishka has an honorary senior medical specialist appointment at the Alfred Hospital and is a research fellow at the Royal Melbourne Hospital.

Kanishka has a broad range of experience managing both respiratory and sleep issues, including COPD, asthma, lung nodules, pleural disease, obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA), insomnia and excessive daytime sleepiness.
